A telecom commercial casting call for actors in Toronto, Canada.
Are you 8-80 years old and proficient in American Sign Language? Then you may be just the right one for Jigsaw Casting’s up-and-coming project.
We’re looking for people to fill a variety of roles – from Deaf or HOH Individuals, to a multi generation South Asian or South East Asian family with one or both grandparents and uncles and aunts; as well as a Dad with his baby/twins. The dad’s age is open but the baby should ideally be under 1 year old.
If you are selected, you will be given a compensation package that includes wardrobe fees, covid tests (if needed), possible rehearsal after wardrobe fees, session/day fee and all moving media payments for 1 year! This is also a non-union project.
Applicants must also be available on these dates in Toronto: ZOOM Recall Jan 24th 2023; Covid Test Jan 28th or 29th 2023; Wardrobe Jan 30th or 31st 2023; Shoot Date Feb 1st or 2nd, with Weather date held Feb 3rd 2023. Please note that if submitting as a family or dad with his baby, only one person (adult) needs to fill out the form.

Jigsaw Casting is seeking various roles
- Deaf or HOH Adults and Kids who are proficient in ASL
- A Multi generation South Asian or South East Asian Family
- A Dad with his baby/twins for a Telecom Campaign in Toronto!
We are looking for the following roles:
- Deaf or HOH Individuals. Ages 8 to 80. Must know ASL.
- Multi Generation Family – Either of South East Asian or South Asian descent. All
ages. A family with one or both grandparents. Uncles and aunts are welcome to apply
with the family too.
- A dad with his baby.. (open to 1 baby or 2 babies if they are twins) Dad’s age is open but the baby ideally is under 1 years old.
Compensation If selected:
Wardrobe $75. Covid Test (If separate day) $100.00. Possible Rehearsal After Wardrobe: $75 per hour (If needed). Session/day Fee: $500.00. 1 Year All Moving Media $4,000.00.
*Buyout includes all lifts, edits, versions and is based on survival of the edit. This is a non-union project.
