Cinemax ‘The Knick’ Season 2 Casting Call for Irish Men in New York City.

The Knick centers around New York City in the 1900s, and the Knickerbocker Hospital. Dr. John Thackery, battles his cocaine and opium addictions with his ambition for medical discovery and his reputation among his peers. Dr. Algernon Edwards, must fight for respect within the all-white populated hospital, as well as the racially-charged city. While literally struggling to keep the lights on, the hospital attempts to attract a wealthy clientele, without sacrificing quality care.

Casting directors are looking male actors to play dead bodies and Irish construction workers to work on The Knick Season 2. Filming will take place on Monday, February 9th.

Seeking Non-Union Caucasian Men to portray Dead Bodies/Irish Construction Worker Types for THE KNICK! Must be ok receiving 1900 style haircut, possibly being fit with artificial facial hair. Must be ok working around atmospheric smoke. Must not have allergies to wool. NO shaved heads or buzz cuts.
Fitting on Monday 2/9 in Greenpoint. Tentative shoot date 2/18 OR 2/19, exterior. Height max: 5’11!
