New York City Casting Call
“The Carrie Diaries” is currently casting various acting roles.
In September 2011, it was announced that The CW network was moving toward a new TV series as a prequel to the original series, Sex and the City. The project was developed by producer Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, former Gossip Girls producers. Also, former Sex and the City writer Amy B. Harris jumped on the project to write the television adaptation. On January 18, 2012, it was official. The CW Network announced and ordered a pilot of “The Carrie Diaries.” The project will be directed and lead by Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, and Len Goldstein along with Candace Bushnell. (Wiki)

According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Though Carrie won’t be hanging out with younger versions of her “Sex and the City” BFFs on The CW drama, “I have some ideas about how I think each of them would come into the universe.” So, if you had any expectations, or knew what was coming you may be sadly mistaken. The backstory to the original Carrie will be different and her bffs in the series will also have changed. So, look forward to a very exciting, and entertaining prequel to Sex and the City, CW’s latest project “The Carrie Diaries”

Casting Call and Audition Information
Central Casting NY is in search of men who can play racquetball for the TV show “The Carrie Diaries” Men should have intermediate to advanced level of play for racquetball and be between the heights of 5’10 and 6’2. Filming will take place on Mon 1.21.13 and fitting will take place next week TBD.
