Austin, Texas Casting Call – Dazed and Confused Sequel, ‘That’s What I’m Talking About’ is now hiring stand-ins in Austin, Texas.
Casting directors are looking for actors, models, and talent to work as stand-ins in the upcoming feature film. On Location casting is looking for peole that are available starting on Saturday October 11th and then on a Monday through Friday basis starting October 13th through November 25th.
Interviews with Richard Linklater will take place on Wednesday, October 8th or Thursday, October 9th. Producers are looking for actors to be stand-ins for the character Blake and Beverly.
According to the casting call notice, Blake is “Caucasian, age range 18-35, height range 6’1″-6’3″, thin, broad shoulders, brown shaggy hair”, Beverley is “Caucasian, age range 18-35, height range 5’3″-5’5″, petite, dark auburn/brown shoulder length hair”.
According to reports the new movie will be a movie about college freshmen called That’s What I’m Talking About, which is supposed to be semi-autobiographical and in the same tone as Dazed and Confused.

‘The Untitled Richard Linklater Project’ Casting Call
AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – Feature Film “Untitled Richard Linklater” project (aka “TWITA”) – *MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL of the dates listed – NO EXCEPTIONS!!*
Stand-ins would work or need to be available starting on Saturday 10/11/14 and then on a Monday – Friday basis from 10/13/14 until 11/25/14. FULL DAY (12+ hours) availability required.
INTERVIEWS with Director will take place on either Weds. 10/8/14 or Thurs. 10/9/14 and you would need to be available to come in for an interview.
Should also be willing/able to self-travel to various locations such as Taylor, Weimer, San Marcos.
Pay rate for STAND-INS is $125.00 for 12 hours (with a 12 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 12 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 10-14 business days AFTER you work.
We do NOT yet have Call Times so you would need to be available ALL DAY. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT! .
Location is in the AUSTIN, TEXAS area.
*STAND-INS*:
BLAKE STAND-IN: male, Caucasian, age range 18-35, height range 6’1″-6’3″, thin, broad shoulders, brown shaggy hair (see photo for hair type). Prefer some previous Stand-in or on set experience (*please specify when submitting) but not required as long as you are able to follow directions & have a good attitude.
BEVERLY STAND-IN: female, Caucasian, age range 18-35, height range 5’3″-5’5″, petite, dark auburn/brown shoulder length hair. Prefer some previous Stand-in or on set experience (*please specify when submitting) but not required as long as you are able to follow directions & have a good attitude
