More importantly, their professional interns play an important part in the Walt Disney organization and they are responsible for desigining and implementing the creative parts of a variety of entertainment projects.

Department Overview:
Creative Costuming is responsible for providing fully themed looks for our cast and Characters that help bring world-famous Disney stories to and delight millions of guests who come through our Disney parks every year. Our teams design, build, buy and repair for locations across the Parks and Resorts segment. Our costumes appear on cast members and Characters world-wide; in all of our theme parks, resorts, shops, restaurants, recreational venues, on cruise ships and even in behind-the-scenes areas our guests never see. For non-costumed cast members, our team manages our company's long-respected Disney Look, a nod to our rich heritage and traditions.

Responsibilities

The Workroom role includes facilitating the creation, manufacturing, and maintenance of Entertainment costumes. Partner with Entertainment and Costuming Operations to ensure costume quality and design is consistently maintained. Interface daily with Costumers, Buyers, Designers and varying levels of management within the Costuming organization. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to draping, drafting, patterning, CAD/CAM process, costume construction, fittings, size charts and alterations.
