Casting directors for Disney Channel and Disney XD are currently conducting a nationwide talent search.
Disney Casting Directors are looking for new and young talent to audition for upcoming Disney TV series and Disney moves featured on the Disney Channel or Disney XD. This looks like a great opportunity for aspiring child actors, singers, and dancers.
The Huffington Post, recently talked about this upcoming casting call as they are looking for people of various ethnicities and races. “While our casting search is for everyone, this ‘grass roots’ search is a great opportunity for us to see many young actors [and] actresses whose talent, by circumstances or geography, hasn’t yet been evaluated by a professional casting director.”
Selena Gomez had a head start to stardom when she was selected to play in a major Disney series, Wizards of Waverly Place and Selena Gomez was not the only one. Disney stars such as Demi Lovato, and Coco Jones were found through similar casting calls. Recently, Disney casting directors started their search in Southern California schools, after schools, and dance studios. Now they are taking e-mail submissions.
