Ed Helm’s ‘Vacation’ Casting Call is now hiring stand-ins in Atlanta, Georgia.
Tammy Smith Casting of Atlanta is looking for actors to work as stand-ins on the upcoming feature film “Vacation” starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate.
Ed Helms stars in the New Line Cinema reboot of the Vacation film series asRusty Griswald, the son of Chevy Chase’s iconic character of the original four films. Vacation stars Ed Helms and Christina Applegate and Horrible Bosses‘ directors’ John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein write and direct.
Casting directors are looking for stand-ins to work full time on the movie. Producers are looking adult actors ages 18 to 40 to work as stand-ins for the characters that are teen boys in the movie. The pay rate is $80/8 hours and we work mostly day scenes with a few night scenes as well.

For the feature film “VACATION”
– Starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate
Looking for the following 2 caucasian Stand-ins to work full time on the movie
The characters are teen boys (the kids of Ed and Christina… aka “Rusty and Debbie Griswold), BUT we are seeking ADULTS, ages 18-40, FEMALE or MALE to standin for either ( most often, smaller females are used to standin for boys!)
BOTH are CAUCASIAN with BROWN HAIR – see attached pics
One older one with darker hair is 5’7” (so a male or female, within the 5’6” – 5’8” range) and the other is 4’6” (so a FEMALE or male that is 4’6” – 5’3” range) Both have an slim/trim build
**IMPORTANT**
1. PLEASE NOTE: we film Sept. 15th thru Nov 15th and we work a Mon-Fri work week. We film in Atlanta and the greater Atlanta region. The pay rate is $80/8 hours and we work mostly day scenes with a few night scenes as well. YOU MUST BE COMPLETELY AVAIL TO BE A FULL TIME STANDIN FOR THOSE 2 MONTHS!
2. There will be an interview for the top 3 candidates for each
on Sept. 11th. WE NEED SUBMISSIONS NO LATER THAN MONDAY EVENING (Labor Day) to present to the AD’s!!
3. STANDIN EXPERIENCE, or some THEATER/DRAMA experience, or at least a decent amount of expereience on set as an EXTRA is a must.
