‘Hap & Leonard’ Season 2 Speaking Role Nationwide Casting Call

Hap & Leonard season 2 is now casting speaking roles in Atlanta, Georgia.

Premier Casting is now casting speaking roles for the hit TV series Hap & Leonard in Atlanta, Georgia. Casting directors are now casting the role of Stella Goodhart. According to the casting call, casting directors are looking for “African American little person (4’10” or under). She is a strong, organized woman with moxie. This role works in 3 out of 6 episodes. We strongly encourage African American female little people to apply for this opportunity.”

About Hap & Leonard:

The drama centers on Hap Collins, a white working-class laborer who spent time in federal prison for refusing to be drafted into the military and serve in the Vietnam War. Now In his late 30s, he is just barely making ends meet picking roses on an East Texas plantation. His colleague and lifelong best friend is Leonard Pine, a six-foot-five, gay, black Vietnam vet with anger issues. Leonard was raised by his uncle who shunned him after learning he was gay leaving Hap as his only support in the not so progressive rural South.

Shoot Dates: Monday, Oct. 10 – Friday, Nov. 18

Synopsis: Hap Collins (James Purefoy) is a straight Caucasian male and Leonard Pine (Michael Kenneth Williams) is his best friend, a gay African American male. In Texas. In 1988. Seemingly a pair of barely-employable ebony-and-ivory oddballs blessed with humor and physical endurance, Hap and Leonard simply have an eccentric set of skills that intersects poorly with the workaday world. However, when it comes to dealing with the shady, slippery, shadowy side of life, Hap and Leonard are a pair of indomitable superheroes with swampland accents, and their enemies always underestimate them, until it’s just too late…

Seeking performers able to portray the following character:
