Casting directors for HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’ are casting kids and adults in New York City.
Boardwalk Empire centers Atlantic City, New Jersey during the 1920′s Prohibition era. Boardwalk Empire stars Steve Buscemi as Nucky Thompson. The show was developed by Emmy Award-winning screenwriter and producer Terence Winter (Terence Winter was the previous screenwriter and producer of the hit HBO series The Sopranos) from a book about historical criminal kingpin Enoch L. Johnson by Nelson Johnson, titled Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City.
Casting directors are looking for a 9 to 14 year old boy to play a Cuban child bartender mixing drinks in 1930’s Cuban bar. Casting directors are also looking for men with 1880’s facial hair.
