Casting directors are now casting principal speaking roles for a new movie filming in Chicago, Illinois. Auditions start on Monday, September 18th and producers are looking for the following types:

  • Joanne: Women, Ages 55-60, Any ethnicity – Billie’s co-worker. Joanne has been beaten down by decades of working for Market Media Outreach. Quiet, unassuming, and bland. Joanne passes the time at her cubicle quietly managing her candy-making company online, unbeknownst to everyone.
    • Shoots 9/23 and 9/26
    • Principal
  • Flower Shop Guy: Men, Ages 20-30, Any ethnicity – Hipster. Straight. Into flowers like he’s into his brand of specialty coffee.
    • Shoots 9/28
    • Featured
  • George: Men, Ages 40-50, Hispanic – George had dreams of becoming a “real” photographer, but unfortunately has never risen above doing weddings. He’s doing his best, but it’s definitely not where he wants to be in life.
    • Shoots 9/21 and 9/22
    • Featured
  • Pastor: Women, Ages 40-50, Non-Caucasian – Warm, engaging, inclusive. One of the leader’s of the church, she is a known voice in an open and engaged community. She is very proud to be presiding over a lesbian wedding at her church.

Details surrounding the movie have not been released however, Focus Features is the production company behind some of the biggest movies in Hollywood including Brad Pitt’s Burn After Reading, Atomic Blonde and Brokeback Mountain.
