Showtime’s The Chi is now casting featured roles for scenes filming between June 14th and June 23rd in Chicago, Illinois. Casting directors are looking for partying teens, neighborhood residents, service industry, business types and other featured roles.

About The Chi:

Executive produced by Common, The Chi is a relevant, timely and distinctive coming-of-age story and follows a half dozen interrelated characters in the South Side of Chicago.

CASTING CALL!
PROJECT: THE CHI – EPISODE 102
ROLE: NON-UNION EXTRAS
SHOOT DATES: 6/14/17 – 6/23/17 (No weekends)
RATE: $84/8
LOCATION: CHICAGOLAND

Seeking the following roles:

PARTYING TEENS:
Male and Female, All Ethnicities, 18 and older (to look younger), Specific scenes include corner boys, young cats, and fine ladies indulging in legal and illegal activities and substances.

NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS:
Male and Female, All Ethnicities, 20’s – 80’s, Multiple scenes in downscale locales like day drinking in a dive bar, lunch at the chicken pit, and hanging ‘round the corner store. The regular folks in the ‘hood.

SERVICE INDUSTRY:
Male and Female, All Ethnicities, 20’s – 50’s, Scenes for everyone who makes a restaurant run – servers, bartenders, bus boys, sous chefs, prep cooks, and dishwashers.

BUSINESS CLASS:
Male and Female, All Ethnicities, 20’s – 60’s, Go-Getters commuting on the L, riding the bus, and working in an Alderman’s Office.

TENAMENT DWELLERS:
Male and Female, All Ethnicities, 30’s – 50’s, Scenes from a Skid Row flophouse full of tragic and colorful characters, drug users, and the down-and-out.

FIVE-0:
Male and Female, All Ethnicities, 30’s – 50’s, Station House scenes full of Uniforms and Detectives trying to keep the peace in the toughest parts of town.
