Joe Dirt is returning for ‘Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser' and production is ramping up for this new movie in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Filming for Joe Dirt 2 is set to begin this month and to continue for 5 weeks through out Louisiana. Central Casting Louisiana posted a casting call seeking background extras to work on the upcoming feature film. Anyone that is interested in being an extra on the movie can come to the casting director's office to register and get their picture taken.
We recently reported that production David Spade was interested in remaking the cult classic, Joe Dirt. According to Deadline, the new movie is being produced by Sony on the Crackle platform. David Spade will return in the sequel to reprise his role as idiotic red neck. Fred Wolf (Saturday Night Live) will direct the Joe Dirt sequel, Joe Dirt 2. David Spade recently joked about the sequel… “I'm beyond stoked that Joe Dirt will finally hit the screens again on Crackle. I've been sleeping in this wig for years and it will be nice to wear it in the daytime again.”

Joe Dirt 2 – Working Wednesday 11/19 in Slidell
We are looking for a few people with 1980's model cars in good condition. You may be any ethnicity / gender, but your car must be pre-1990 and still look good.

We are casting 2 Caucasian 12-13 year old looking boys that can look like punks / bullies and are able to be running in a scene for Joe Dirt 2. This will be working in Covington next week on Tuesday 11/18.
