The Falls Church office of Carlyn Davis Casting is currently offering part time internships for the 2014 Summer Session.
These internships are unpaid, but school credit and travel stipend is offered. You do not have to be a student to intern.
However, please be advised that this is an unpaid internship with a travel stipend offered.
Their office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:15am to 5:30pm. The internship starts on or about May 27, 2014 and ends on or about August 15, 2014. Interns are responsible to come in for at least 2 consecutive days a week. They may choose to intern for more than 2 days if schedules allow.
Duties include answering busy phones, interaction with talent and clients, helping with Audio/Video during casting sessions, scheduling auditions, scouting talent at local theatres, etc. Strong computer skills and basic video camera knowledge (framing terms, camera use, etc) are a plus. There is no better way to learn the casting/film industry than behind the scenes.
