Magnificent Seven is now casting a ton of background acting roles in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
After filming in New Orleans for several months, casting directors in New Mexico are now casting background actors to work on the new feature film. Magnificent Seven is currently looking for background actors to play miners, Native Americans, bearded men, Hispanics and horseback riders.
The 1960 original, itself a remake of Akira Kurosawa’s “Seven Samurai,” starred Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen. It centered on seven gunslingers who protect an oppressed Mexican village from a group of outlaws. Magnificent Seven features Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawke.
