MGM’s next feature film “MAX” posted a casting call seeking extras to play Afghanistan Villagers.
“MAX” is based on a true story about a Belgian Shepard Malinois military working dog returns from active service in Afghanistan traumatized by his handler’ s death. Erratic and dangerous, Max is adopted by the bereaved family and bonds with the marine’s troubled 14-year old brother.Together they unravel the secret behind his brother’s death and pull a family together again.”
Boaz Yakin from Remember the Titans will direct the film.
Filming is taking place in Charlotte and surrounding areas this spring and summer.
Casting directors are seeking men of Middle Eastern, Persian, Afghani, Indian descents (or those that can pass as such) to portray Afghani Villagers.

The MGM Movie MAX -Seeking Men of Middle Eastern, Persian, Afghani, Indian descents (or those that can pass as such) to portray Afghani Villagers. Seeking men 60’s,70’s and 80’s years of age.
This will be a 2 day booking in Kings Mountain area in July. Hotel room will be provided for those driving any distance and the featured extra rate will be paid. Please pass this along to any men you know in this age range of such descents.

Females will also be needed for this scene, so if your grandfather or father is working we may be able to use you as well for traveling with purposes.
After viewing several submissions we are receiving for this request, I feel I need to be more clear about what we are searching for. Please see photos below in reference to looks we are seeking for reference. Yes, we can beard folks if needed.
