MTV ‘Faking It’ Season 2 Now Hiring Stand-ins in Los Angeles

MTV’s ‘Faking It‘ Season 2 is now casting stand ins in Los Angeles, California.

Faking It is comedy about two best friends, Karma (Katie Stevens) and Amy (Rita Volk), who love each other in different ways. After numerous failed attempts to become popular, the girls are mistakenly outed as lesbians, which make them instantly popular. After becoming popular they decide to keep up their romantic ruse. Gregg Sulkin, Michael Willett and Bailey Buntain also star on MTV’s ‘Faking It‘.

According to Deadline, MTV’s Faking It was renewed for a second season. “Faking It has proved to be the perfect companion show to Awkward,” said Susanne Daniels, President of MTV Programming. “We’re excited about Carter Covington’s delicious plans for season two.”

Sande Alessi Casting is looking for a stand in for an African American actor. Producers are looking for someone that is 6’1 to 6’3 and between 160 to 170 pounds ages 18 to 35.

SAG CASTING NOTICE-Shoots on “Faking It” on Wednesday August 13th which will be a make-up test, so you need to have no issues with any type of make-up or skin allergies. Then, you will stand in on Friday August 15th.

African American male: 6’1 to 6’3, 160-170 lbs. Age 18-35. Skin tone must match attached pics. You must be a SAG member in good standing. You must live in the LA area to work this show.
