Casting directors are looking for real life basketball players and basketball coaches to work on ‘The Mysteries of Laura’ starring Debra Messing filming in New York City.
NBC’s ‘Mysteries of Laura‘ follows the life and relationships of the titular female homicide detective, played by Debra Messing. Laura’s soon-to-be ex-husband and also the clever cop who ends up being captain of her police precinct. The schmoozing serial cheater just needs to sign the papers for their divorce to be finalized. In the meantime, he’s stuck Laura with the responsibility of parenting their young twins.
Filming will take place on Thursday, March 5th and 6th in New York City.

Seeking REAL LIFE BASKETBALL PLAYERS AND BASKETBALL COACHES for work on THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA starring Debra Messing. Players should be college age (or at least look college age). Must be very experienced!!! Must also be from the NYC area. The shoot date is Thursday 3/5 and Friday 3/6.
