Coen Brothers Western series The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is now casting musicians in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, the Coen Brother’s Western, is now casting musicians who are trained fiddlers, piano players or violin players to work on the movie. Producers are looking for guys who are between the ages of 50 t0 70 who are large and gregarious to work on the movie.
About The Ballad of Buster Scruggs:
Award-winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen are making the jump to television with an upcoming TV Western called “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.”
Written and directed by the Coens, the project is a limited series that may possibly combine television and theatrical components, according toVariety . It marks the first television project for the “True Grit” and “No Country for Old Men” directors.
Variety reports that the show will involve six storylines, the scope of which seemed too ambitious to fit into one feature film.
