Casting directors are looking for men and women ages 18 to 35, to portray 1950’s comedy club goers, beatnik and poet types for the new Amazon show from the creators of Gilmore Girls, “THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL.” Filming will shoot on Tuesday, July 25th and Wednesday, July 26th. Filming will shoot in New York City.

A housewife in the 1950s decides to become a standup comic. The AMAZON series features Rachel Brosnahan, Alex Borstein, and Marin Hinkle.

GWCI is still seeking SAG & NON-UNION Men & Women ages 18-35, all ethnicity to portray 1950’s comedy club goers, beatnik and poet types for the new Amazon show from the creators of Gilmore Girls, “THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL.”
Fitting: THURSDAY 7/20
Shoot Date: Tues 7/25 & Wed 7/26 (must be available both days)
Interior shoot. Must have full day availability.
Must be comfortable working around smoke, no wool allergies, and TRI STATE AREA locals only.
Men must be okay getting a 1950s haircut. Men must be comfortable being clean shaven!
Women must have single colored hair only. No highlights, no foils, no balayage, no weaves, no extensions, no wigs, no braids.

-Men: Confirm you are comfortable receiving a 1950’s hair cut and you are okay being clean shaven (this means not facial hair).
-Women: Confirm the length of your hair.
-Women: Confirm you have no highlights, that you have single colored hair only.
-If you’ve worked on the project before, if so when and as what.
NON UNION RATE $154/12hrs. SAG-AFTRA rates apply to SAG-AFTRA members.
