‘The Get Down’ Season 2 NYC Casting Call for Gangsters

The Get Down season 2 is now casting gangsters in NYC.

Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for actors, models, and talent to play African American and Hispanic gangsters. Producers are seeking young, buff types with 1970s style hair. Filming will take place Monday through Wednesday of next week. Please only submit if you live in the NYC area and are completely available on Mon-Wed. This is for background work only. Background work is a full day/night availability.

About The Get Down:

“The Get Down” centers around the emerging music scene in the 1970’s. The 70’s featured the birth of punk rock and hip hop. The show will be set in New York City which is also the home of an excessive crime rate and corruption. According to Variety, “The Get Down” will focus on a group of teens living in the South Bronx as music develops and explodes in the borough around them.

GWCI is seeking NON-UNION to portray African American and Hispanic gang members.

Especially seeking young, buff types with 1970s style hair. Fitting tomorrow, works Mon-Wed of next week.
