The Deuce starring James Franco is now casting barbers in New York City.
Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for African American barbers with real experience to work on HBO’s new James Franco TV series The Deuce. Fittings are scheduled for Friday, August 19th and filming will take place on Monday, August 22nd in New York City.
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

GWC is seeking SAGAFTRA/NON-UNION African American Male Barbers with REAL experience for work on HBO’s The Deuce.
Fitting Friday 8/19
Works Monday 8/22
Must be 18 or older and have REAL experience as a barber.
Must have 1970s appropriate hair or be able to provide an afro wig. no visible tattoos.
