Ben Affleck’s ‘City On A Hill’ is Now Casting Actors for a Gambling Scene

Showtime‘s new series by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon City on a Hill is now casting actors for a gambling scene in New York City.

Grant Wilfley Casting is now casting actors to ply early 1990s gambling event patrons with cars from 1980 to 1992 for the upcoming Showtime series City On A Hill. Filming will shoot on February 8th in Manhattan, New York City. Fittings will take place between January 31st through February 1st in Brooklyn, New York. Talents must be local to New York, over 18 and have a valid, unexpired, unrestricted US-issued ID. Showtime casting directors are looking for people with early 90’s hair, nothing modern.

The new Showtime series City on a Hill is executive produced by Tom Fontana, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jennifer Todd, James Mangold, Barry Levinson, and Michael Cuesta.

According to Deadline, the series is written by Chuck MacLean (Boston Strangler) and is based on an original idea by Ben Affleck. City on a Hill is set in the early 1990s Boston when “the city was rife with violent criminals emboldened by local law enforcement agencies in which corruption and racism was the norm, until it suddenly all changed.”

How to apply:

GWC is seeking SAG-AFTRA & NON-UNION actors ages 18-99, all ethnicity, to portray early 1990’s Gambling Event Patrons with 1980-1992 Cars on the Showtime series CITY ON A HILL.

Tentative Shoot Date: 2/8 in Manhattan. Interior and exterior work.

Fitting 1/31-2/1 sometime before the work date in Brooklyn.

SAG-AFTRA: SAG background Rate + $37.50 car bump
Non-union bg rate: $165/10hrs +$37.50 car bump
