The Deuce starring James Franco is holding an open casting call in New York City.
Grant Wilfley Casting is holding an open casting call for the new HBO series The Deuce. Casting directosr are looking for men and women to play 1971 NYC types. For example, producers are looking for extras to play pedestrians, business people, tourists, drug dealers and prostitutes.
The open casting call will take place on Thursday, April 21st.
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York's Times Square from the early '70s through the mid '80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. JamesFranco will play both twins in the new HBO series.
