Dirty Dancing is now casting featured roles in Asheville, North Carolina.
Dirty Dancing is now casting featured roles for an upcoming scene in the new reboot. The director is looking for Caucasian male actors to play club/resort owners and 1970s type of guys.
Filming will take place at the end of April and May.
About Dirty Dancing:
The new ‘Dirty Dancing’ remake will be a three-episode TV miniseries on ABC. The TV miniseries will feature a “night of singing and dancing as we update the classic film ‘Dirty Dancing’ as a three-hour event.”
According to our previous report, Dirty Dancing will will create 1,225 jobs in North Carolina including 900 extras, 30 cast members and 225 “crew/full time” jobs.

DIRTY DANCING -Seeking the following to be photo selected by Director:
1) A 30 year old Caucasian Male with 1975 style/type hair. This person should between 29 -34 years of age. Submit with heading 1975 Male.Needed for 1 day of filming in May.
2) A Caucasian Male in late 60’s -early 70’s to portray former club/resort owner. This scene plays in 1963 time frame. Submit with heading SENIOR MALE REQUEST. Needed for Filming for one day he end of April.
