Atmosphere Casting of Chicago recently posted the following casting call on their Facebook Page:

We are casting an internet project for Optimus – the project shoots on Friday, 3/22 in the Chicago – you must have open availability on this date to submit.

You must wear glasses or have a pair of glasses you are comfortable wearing on camera.

NON-UNION ONLY

Rate: $250 + 10% (please include the name of your agent in the submission) but you do not have to be represented to submit.

We are looking for the following categories:

1 Caucasian man late 20s-40s – subject line: Optimus/Caucasian Man

1 Caucasian woman late 25-45 – subject line: Optimus/Caucasian Woman

1 Person that’s Hispanic or racially ambiguous. Male or female. 20s-30s – subject line: Optimus/Hispanic

1 Asian. Male or female. 20s-40s – subject line: Optimus/Asian

1 African American man 20s-40s – subject line: Optimus/African American Man

1 African American woman 25-45 – subject line: Optimus/African American Woman

Clothing Specs: Both trendy and business casual options. Simple, solid colors with nothing that will vibrate on screen or take away from the focus of the glasses. Try to avoid red or pink and don’t have anything with logos or writing on it.

Please send an email to extrascasting@gmail.com with two photos of yourself – 1 with glasses and 1 without glasses – in a jpeg format and include your name, age, phone number and email address, list agent if you are represented, and submit with appropriate subject line.

FYI – We will probably have a lot of people submit for this – so if you don’t follow the directions, you will likely be overlook.
