Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania starting this February 2021.

“The Chair” will star Golden Globe winner, Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) and Emmy Award winner, Jay Duplass (Transplant). It is a six-episode dramedy written by executive producer and showrunner, Amanda Peet and executive produced by Bernie Caulfield, David Benioff, and D.B. Weiss, the team from Game of Thrones.

Student Extras Needed for New Netflix Series

The Chair will star Golden Globe winner, Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) and Emmy Award winner, Jay Duplass (Transparent). It’s a six-episode dramedy written by Executive Producer and Showrunner, Amanda Peet and Executive Produced by Bernie Caulfield, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the team from Game of Thrones.

Seeking: Ages 18 – 23. All ethnicities. College Student types.

Important info

Pays $90/8, per day (Overtime after 8 hours)

Expect 10 – 12 hour days. Filming on the Washington & Jefferson campus. Must have a vehicle to get to set – no ride shares or public transportation to avoid COVID-19 exposure.

Request to sequester starting February 25th – March 1st and then you will film March 2nd – March 6th. Sequestering means that you will agree to avoid large gatherings, events, hangouts with family/friends, restaurants, bars, etc. You will be paid the day rate of $90 per day to adhere as much as possible to these guidelines. If you feel you can’t properly sequester because you have multiple roommates or family members in your home, let us know when you submit and we can make hotel arrangements if you are selected. WE are trying very hard to make this a safe environment for all cast and crew!

Multiple PCR and Rapid COVID tests are required during this time span. Production will coordinate these. The first test will be on February 24th.

We will ask that this be your only job during this time-span and that you agree to not work in-person at a day job, go to in-person classes or work on any other productions to limit Covid exposure.

Must wear masks and safety eyewear at all times except when asked to remove by Crew for lighting purposes. Must follow all Netflix COVID and Safety guidelines at all times. All PPE will be provided.
