Rebel Wilson will star in the upcoming Paramount Players high school comedy Senior Year. Alex Hardcastle will direct the upcoming movie. Brandon Scott Jones is writing the script.
Paramount Players is reportedly “committed to creating hit genre films from unique, contemporary voices and properties and with Paramount Pictures tapping former Fox exec Jeremy Kramer to oversee the studio last year, development has begun to ramp up since the top of the year.”
Rebel Wilson took a break in 2020 after several hit box office movies including Isn’t It Romantic, The Hustle, Jojo Rabbit, and Cats. Meanwhile, Hardcastle is known for his work in several TV shows including Love, Simon, You’re the Worst, and Grace And Frankie.
What is Senior Year about?
The upcoming feature film centers around a cheerleader who wakes up after a 20-year coma and returns to high school to try to regain her status and claim the prom queen crown that she lost 20 years prior.

- Role: Afro Vaper- We are looking for those able to portray Men & Women & Non-Binary, able to portray any ethnicity. We are looking for those with an afro able to vape. This is a very featured spot.
- Role: Student – We are looking for those able to portray Men & Women & Non-Binary, able to portray any ethnicity. Must be able to portray age 15-19. MUST BE OVER 18 TO SUBMIT

- Role: Model Type High School Student – We are looking for Men, able to portray any ethnicity, and able to portray age 15-18. YOU MUST BE OVER 18 TO SUBMIT. We are looking for modeling experience and an overall clean cut, attractive look. This is a highly featured role and it is important that you are able to make it to every filming date! FRESH FACES ONLY – Please do not submit if you have already worked on Senior Year before.

1999 Bowling Alley Teens (KISSING COUPLE): Looking for couples able to portray age range 14-19, MUST be 18 years or older in order to apply. Looking for hip, fun, actors to portray high school students at a local bowling alley – kissing couples will be featured & must be comfortable kissing on camera. You will receive a TBD bump on date of filming.
