Casting directors for ‘The Prince’ starring Bruce Willis is currently seeking extras.
Mobile Film Office posted a casting call accepting submissions for Extras to work on the upcoming feature film starring Die Hard’s own, Bruce Willis.
THE PRINCE is now accepting submissions for EXTRAS the email address for submissions is: theprinceextras@gmail.com Alabama Locals Only
Talents must be local to Alabama in order to apply.
“The Prince,” starring Bruce Willis and rapper/actor Curtis Fifty Cent Jackson, will start filming in Mobile on Dec. 1 and finish at Christmas, according to producer Randall Emmett, owner of Emmett/ Furla Films.
“The Prince” plot centers on a retired mobster who must get back to business when he discovers that his teenage daughter is missing.  Willis will play “Omar,” a criminal who has been patiently awaiting the retired mobster’s return.
In interesting side note, Alabama was able to pick up this project due to the amount of tax rebates and refunds they give to producers. For example, AI.com points out that:
Any film project that spends at least $500,000 in the state gets a 25 percent rebate on any expenses exceeding $500,000.
And if the project uses local talent to fill cast and crew positions, Â which “The Prince” is, the filmmakers get a 35 percent rebate on however much that talent gets paid.
That is not a bad deal for any producer looking into cutting production costs.
