The critically acclaimed and fan favorite director has recently released a trailer to his new horror film, Tusk.
‘Tusk‘ centers on a podcaster who travels to Canada to interview an old man, only to end up falling victim to torture.
According to TheWrap, feature film started off as a joke on a podcast. Kevin Smith’s ‘Tusk‘ is real and the first trailer was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con.
The low-budget horror film features Michael Parks as a old man who has a fascination Walruses who invites Justin Long to Canada to hear him tell stories. But, Michael Parks wants more than a casual conversation. Long’s friends search for him but in the mean time he becomes a part of Michael Park’s cruel amusement.
It is a story of a mad scientist told through Kevin Smith’s unique directorial vision. Smith wrote and directed the story, which was once considered as a joke.
“Tusk” features Johnny Depp, Haley Joel Osment, and Genesis Rodriguez. It was produced by Sam Englebardt, William D. Johnson, Shannon McIntosh, and Chris Parkinson.

Filming took place in Wilmington, North Carolina and casting directors posted casting calls for several different roles in the production in November of last Year.
