Looking for a job? ‘American Pastoral’ is now hiring stand-ins in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Mosser Casting is looking for Non-Union Stand-ins to work between mid-late September through early November in the Pittsburgh area for the feature film, “American Pastoral” starring Ewan McGregor, Jennifer Connelly and Dakota Fanning.
‘American Pastoral’ is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Phillip Roth. ‘American Pastoral’ centers around Seymour “Swede” Levov, a legendary high school athlete who grows up to marry a former beauty queen and inherits his father’s business.
His perfect life shatters when his daughter rebels by becoming a revolutionary and committing a deadly act of political terrorism during the Vietnam War.

STAND-INS NEEDED FOR “AMERICAN PASTORAL”!
Mosser Casting is looking for Non-Union Stand-ins to work between mid-late September through early November in the Pittsburgh area for the feature film, “American Pastoral” starring Ewan McGregor, Jennifer Connelly and Dakota Fanning.
Stand-ins are used in place of the actor for camera and lighting tests. Applicants should be highly punctual, reliable and professional. MUST HAVE GREAT AVAILABILITY BETWEEN THE SHOOT DATES. Acting experience is a plus but not required. Stand-ins should expect long days that will last for 12-14 hours. There will be some night filming. Having a car is a must. Pay is $150 for the first 12 hours and time and a half after that.
– STAND-IN 1 – Caucasian Male – 30s- Mid-40s. 5’9-5’11 and weighing between 155lbs-175lbs. Fair skin. Light Blonde hair or willing to have it dyed. Full-time position that will work every day during filming.
– STAND-IN 2 – Caucasian Female – 30s-early-40s. 5’5.5-5’7 and weighing between 105lbs-125lbs. Fair skin. Dark brown hair or willing to have it dyed. Will need to have very good availability.
– STAND-IN 3 – Caucasian Female – 18-25 years old. 5’4.5-5’6 and weighing between 100lbs-120lbs. Light blonde hair or willing to have it dyed. Will need to have very good availability.
– STAND-IN 4 – Caucasian Female – 18-25 years old. 4’9-5’1 and weighing 100lbs-120lbs. Light blonde hair or willing to have it dyed. Will need to have very good availability.
