The Warner Bros. Discovery merger has left the entertainment world in shock, and as a result, Cartoon Network will be shutting down. Started by Ted Turner on October 1st, 1992, the channel was known for its wide array of animated TV shows covering various genres like action and comedy.
Cartoon Network will dramatically shift as part of Warner Bros. Entertainment’s plan to restructure its assets. Following another round of significant cuts at Warner Bros. Television Group, they announced the Warner Bros. Discovery “strategic realignment” news.
It’s uncertain what the combination of Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animation will produce, as Cartoon Network still has programs in production with no announcements of cancellation thus far.
