CBS renews Chuck Lorre's ‘Mom' and ‘Mike and Molly'.
According to reports, Chuck Lorre comedies “Mom” and “Mike & Molly” will live to see another day. Variety reports that the show received early pickups from CBS.
“Mom” will be heading into its third season, while “Mike & Molly” will surprisilingly head into their sixth season.

“Mom” has growing critical buzz, and Allison Janney's Emmy win last year for her work in season one likely sealed the deal. “Mike & Molly,” which stars Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell, has been a utility player for the Eye, although there are questions about how long McCarthy will stick with the show once her current deal expires as her film career continues to blossom.
