Tammy Williams has over 25 years of experience in the Film and Television business. According to her IMDB bio, she’s written and produced a variety of projects, including features, biographies, documentaries, entertainment shows, and network news programs.

Tammy’Dele Film is the name of Williams’s first digital production firm, which she founded in 2016 and now owns the world’s first $135 million studios and post-production factory space in Atlanta, Georgia.

Cinema South Studios was founded by Williams and her business partner Gary Guidry, an investor, and CEO of G-Square Events and Black Promoters Collective.

“We’ve been patient,” she said. “This has not been an overnight thing, this vision for us,” Williams has worked towards making her dream a reality for 12 years.

In March will see the start of construction on Cinema South Studios, which is located north of Fayette County.

Studios are still being planned, but a production facility will include a transportation company and an office block to house a theater and post-production amenities, according It is expected that the film studio will cover 60 acres and will have eleven soundstages, a backlot, a prop house, wardrobe rental offices, and lighting grip rental houses. To house the talent, there will also be a boutique hotel on the property.

This is all part of Williams’s and Guidry’s plan to make Cinema South Studios a one-stop-shop for productions filming in Atlanta.

Williams told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that they are planning to create an environment where people want to come to work, not just because it’s a job, but because they enjoy being there.

By the first quarter of 2023, Williams plans to have two soundstages online.“The demand for soundstages is happening globally, and the ownership rarely looks like us, let alone an African American woman,” said Guidry said in an official release, reports AJC. “When I choose to invest, I evaluate the need of the business and the ownership. Investing in Tammy Williams and her team of professionals convinced me that buying the land in Fayetteville, GA.”

Cinema South will be Tammy’s production company’s genesis. It will house the education component of Tammy’Dele Films Workshops and Cinema South Film Academy, where she will provide job training lectures.

Tyler Perry Studios in Georgia is currently the largest film production facility in the United States, and it was there that Tyler Perry became the first African-American to head a major studio.
