‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Will Reportedly End With Season 12

Date:

It’s been reported that the iconic HBO comedy show ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ will close after its twelfth season.

After a glorious 12-season run, HBO’s beloved comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm is finally concluding. Two producers recently sent the internet into a frenzy when they posted that production had officially wrapped on social media, sparking rumors of closure.

Jon Hayman, the producer for the show, posted (but later deleted) an emotional Tweet that could only mean one thing: filming has wrapped up on the last scene of the ultimate episode in this season’s series. Hayman posted an accompanying picture with his Tweet, displaying the crew and a seemingly focused Larry David in front of a monitor that displays the concluding scene. In this particular scene, Larry and J.B. Smoove’s character Leon are side by the side in a plane, similar to season eight’s climax when they depart America for Paris.

Robert B. Weide, the executive producer and director of the show, gave us a clue that it would soon be coming to an end by writing on Twitter: “1st day: March 1998. Last day (?): March 27, 2023. These 25 years have flown by. Thank you, #LarryDavid.” As of now, HBO has yet to make any public statements. With anticipation growing, Larry David’s newest HBO comedy series is on track to become his longest-running show yet! After taking a six-year hiatus before 2018’s season nine, the show has routinely released new seasons every two years. According to a Variety source, David’s contract with HBO is drawing to a close, and it makes sense for this situation to coincide with the finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
