Extras Upgraded to Speaking Roles on Will Smith’s new movie ‘Game Brain’
Extras casting director for the upcoming ‘Game Brain’ movie has announced that two extras were selected to have speaking roles in the upcoming feature film starring Will Smith.
‘Game Brain’ aka Concussion, is based on the 2009 GQ Story about concussions and brain damage in football players. The movie will examine how the NFL attempted to discredit then-Allegheny County forensic pathologist Bennet Omalu. Dr. Omalu discovered evidence linking football-related brain injuries to dementia while examining a former football player after his 2002 death.
Movies Casting PGH posted on their Facebook page announcing the two upgrades “Not only one UPGRADE on set today but two! Congrats guys!”
Filming is currently taking place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Casting directors held an open casting call in September looking for actors, models, and talent to work on the feature film. Now as filming is ramping up, casting directors are still casting speaking roles for the movie.
Although not very uncommon, it is still amazing to know that producers, and the director are actively casting speaking roles.
Casting directors are still seeking extras for the feature film. To audition for an extra role on ‘Game Brain’ submit your headshot and resume to MOVIEEXTRASPGH@GMAIL.COM
