Leslie Jones reveals fashion designers didn’t want to dress her for the Ghostbusters premiere.
When I visited the Comedy Store a few years ago, I had the great chance to meet Leslie Jones before she became one of the most popular comedians in Hollywood. She was humble but, her artistic style was unique. Especially since she didn’t fit the stereotype and broke conventional norms. Since then, she became a writer on Saturday Night Live and is going to appear in the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot. However, even though she’s gracing billboards, featured in magazine interviews, and working with some of the biggest Hollywood producers in the game, fashion designers didn’t want to dress her for the Ghostbusters premiere.
On Tuesday, Junes tweeted about her difficulties finding a dress in such a way that hints that she forgives but will never forget.
It’s so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie. Hmmm that will change and I remember everything

Some of the responses were pretty negative.

Then some guy said he will make a dress out of hamburger buns, which I can’t tell is an insult or a compliment.
@alwaysbob33 OMG YES!!!

It’s hard to say what’s going on here. But, I feel Twitter is the last place you should go to open up about your personal experiences. I mean, White History Month is trending on Twitter right now.
