Disney is in Development for Frozen 2

The 2013 Oscar-winning movie, Frozen is currently in development for a sequel. Are you ready for Frozen 2?

Indina Menzel, the voice actor who voiced Elsa in 's award winning animation hit, told the Guardian that a sequel is currently in development by Disney studios.

When the Guardian asked Menzel what we should expect in the Frozen sequel, she replied, “That they're all in the works, ha ha!”

Indina Menzel revealed that she will also be attached to the sequels: “Ah, yeah sure. … Not the stage show — I don't know what will happen with that — but the movie, hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride.”

In February, Walt Disney Animation Studios executive vice president and GM Andrew Millstein told The Hollywood Reporter that “there's not a sequel [currently] on the drawing boards,” and Disney chairman reiterated what the GM said.

But, this is amazing news for the animation series. Frozen has made $1.27 billion worldwide and won several for best animated feature and best original song for “Let It Go.”

Indina Menzel also explained how Frozen has impacted her acting .

She has been overwhelmed by the response to the film, and particularly the tributes it has inspired. “Recently someone sent me one of a girl with singing Let It Go. And I love the one with, I think it's , and one of them's yawning in it. And there's one where the song's been put in scenes in movies: The , where all the prisoners are looking up and listening to the opera. Or Rocky, when he's running up the steps…” [Guardian]
