‘Gambit’ Starring Channing Tatum is Now Hiring Crew

Producers for Marvel’s new movie Gambit is now hiring crew in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Filming will start on November 9th in New Orleans and 20th century Fox is now accepting resumes for all crew positions on the upcoming feature film.

There has been a lot of drama surrounding the new Gambit movie. It was first revealed that Channing Tatum was fired from the lead role in the upcoming feature film. According to reports, the studio was auditioning several actresses alongside Channing Tatum, but the director, Rupert Wyatt was interested on finding a new Gambit.

But, according to Variety, Channing Tatum officially closed the deal to become Gambit in the upcoming Marvel movie. After stressful negotiations and arguments, Channing Tatum will be fighting crime and kicking butt.

Gambit is Marvel Comics’ card-throwing, kinetic energy-controlling son of Louisiana. It was only in 2014 that Tatum was revealed as the lead to a solo film based on the character, which Fox had initially dated for 2018. A script has been written by writer Josh Zetumer based on a treatment by X-Men writer Chris Claremont.

‘Gambit’ will be directed by Rupert Wyatt and written by Chris Claremont and Joshua Zetumer. Channing Tatum will portray Gambit in an upcoming solo film to be released October 7, 2016.

Fox is actively expanding their comic book universe. Fantastic Four opens August 7th, 2015, Deadpool on February 12th, 2016, X-Men: Apocalypse on May 27th, 2016, Gambit on October 7th, 2016, Wolverine 3 (not the official title) on March 3rd, 2017,Fantastic Four 2 on June 9th, 2017, and some as-yet unspecified X-Men film on July 13th, 2018. New Mutants is also in the work without a release date.
