Sony Pictures announces new release dates For “Madame Web” and “Kraven the Hunter.”

Sony Pictures has announced that Madame Web and Kraven the Hunter will be postponed. According to reports, Madame Web will be premiering on February 16, 2024, instead of its original October 6, 2023 date, while Kraven the Hunter will experience an even longer delay of 10 months, premiering on October 6, 2023, instead of January 13, 2023. The studio did not reveal a reason for the postponements but arrived alongside announcements of several new films.
Both upcoming films will be set in the Sony/Marvel Universe. Madame Web, billed as a Spider-Man spinoff, stars Dakota Johnson in the title role with a supporting cast of Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, and Mike Epps. Adam Scott and Zosia Mamet also have roles in the film, which S. J. Clarkson will direct. Kraven the Hunter sees Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the lead character, with Ariana DeBose and Fred Hechinger co-starring, while J. C Chandor is attached to direct.
