Norman Reedus Reveals Walking Dead Season 5 Finale Details

Date:

The season finale of ‘The Walking Dead’ is around the corner and everyone is asking what will happen next.

Norman Reedus was a guest on Entertainment Tonight, and during the interview, the zombie assassin answered questions from The Walking Dead fans. One particular question stood out, “What should we expect from the season finale?”

Reedus’ response sent The Walking Dead fans crazy: “Wow, bring your Kleenex, and you’ll be screaming at your television.”

According to the synopsis for the finale, it looks like Daryl’s time on The Walking Dead may be coming to an end:

The Walking Dead’s season five finale will be an extended 90-minute episode airing March 29 at 9 p.m., AMC announced Wednesday. In the finale, Daryl finds himself in trouble while out on the run. Meanwhile, in Alexandria, Rick and his group continue to feel like outsiders as danger lurks near the gates

This could mean the end of Daryl Dixon. If you didn’t know, The Walking Dead is based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman. In the comic book the Daryl character does not exist which creates a problem for many of the Walking Dead writers. For every plot and scenario, writers cannot just mimic the comic book storyline but, have to create their storylines based around Daryl. This is what the Walking Dead creator had to say about Dixon’s character.

I like that when we sit down to write the show one of the first things we deal with is: ‘How does Daryl Dixon change this story?’ Because we always start from: ‘Ok, we like this part of the comic. How are we going to do it?’

And it’s just always interesting to get in there and be like, ‘Oh, well his existence and the fact that his personality is this, and he would behave this way, means that he would react to this person differently than this and differently than that.’

In addition, the actor who played Tyreese, Chad Coleman, revealed the reason why he was killed off the show.

“The creation of Daryl, more than anything else, is probably the reason why I’m not on the show. I was [Rick’s] right-hand man [in the comics].”

Who replaced Tyreese as Rick’s right hand man in the comic books? Abraham. Which means either Abraham is going to get killed off or this marks the end of Daryl Dixon.

But again I am just guessing and have no clue.
