Rihanna reveals that she still cares about Chris Brown.
While they may not be dating any more, but Rihanna reveals that she is always going to have a place for he ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, in her heart. The singer opens up about her rocky relationship with the Loyal singer in a new interview, and admits that she will care about him forever.
Rihanna, 27, makes one thing very clear in her Vanity Fair interview: She is not currently dating Chris Brown. But, she does not hate him either. In fact, she has nothing but nice things to say about the convicted abuser.
“I don’t hate him,” Rihanna admits. “I will care about him until the day I die. We’re not friends, but it’s not like we’re enemies. We don’t have much of a relationship now.” The 27-year-old famously got back together with Chris Brown in 2012, only three years after he assualted her before the 2009 Grammy Awards. But even after their crazy tumultuous relationship, Rihanna says she still felt the need to protect Chris Brown to the public.
“I don’t hate him,” Rihanna reveals. “I will care about him until the day I die. We’re not friends, but it’s not like we’re enemies. We don’t have much of a relationship now.” But although she made that decision, it is pretty clear from this interview that her feelings were still there and will always will be. In fact, she finally came to the realization that the toxic romance won’t ever work out.
Even though she’s been linked to several guys since they broke up several years ago. Rihanna insists Chris was her last “real boyfriend.” However, recent interviews suggest that she is dating legendary drummer Travis Scott.
