Sony is Going to Remake ‘The Craft’

Sony is remaking ‘The Craft’.

According to reports, Sony Pictures is remaking the 1996’s supernatural thriller ‘The Craft’. ‘Honeymoon’ writer-director Leigh Janiak has been hired to direct the remake and she will co-write the movie with Phil Graziadei, who co-wrote ‘Honeymoon.’

Robin Tunney starred in the original movie, portraying a new arrival at a high school who’s sought out by three students. The trio have been interested in witchcraft but things go haywire when one of the characters start misusing their new power. ‘The Craft’ also featured Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell and Rachel True.

‘The Craft’ was a box office hit. The movie made $55 million worldwide on only a $15 million budget.
