‘Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back’ Temuera Morrison Hopes Boba Fett Will Return to “His Bad*ss Ways”

Meanwhile, most Star Wars fans were eager to see Temuera Morrison reprise his role as Boba Fett in The Book of Star Wars after his performance as Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones. Some felt that the book had strayed too far from the character’s origins, and it now appears that Morrison himself agrees with that sentiment. After appearances in his show and The Mandalorian, Morrison tells Entertainment Tonight that Disney “has to bring him back someplace.”
Although The Book of Boba Fett hasn’t been confirmed for a second season, the Maori actor wants to return as Boba Fett and make him ruthless again, returning him to the brooding anti-heroes that fans first met in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
“We’ve got to see the old Boba Fett,” Morrison enthused. “We reintroduced him. We found out some stuff. But I think it’s time to get him back to his badass ways. No two ways around that.” He added that “I think we sort of have that scope to go back there, but that’s out of my control. I’ll just see what happens.”
