T.I. and Tiny owe the IRS over $4 million in unpaid taxes.
The IRS is giving T.I. a lesson in taxes. The Georgia artists, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., owes the government over $4.5 million in unpaid taxes from 2012 and 2013, according to Page Six.
The first federal tax lien was filed earlier this month in Georgia and states the “Blurred Lines” rapper, 34, along with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris (in the document she is listed as Tameka Cottle), owe the US government just under $1.4 million in unpaid taxes for the year 2012.
The Feds filed a second lien solely against Harris for unpaid taxes in 2013 amounting to nearly $3.2 million.
T.I. recently paid $4.26 million in 2006 for his waterfront home in Jonesboro, Georgia.
In 2012, T.I. released Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head, on December 18. The album peaked at number two in the US. The album was supported by several singles, namely “Love This Life”, “Like That”, “Go Get It”, “Ball” (featuring Lil Wayne), “Trap Back Jumpin”, “Sorry” (featuring André 3000) and “Hello” (featuring CeeLo Green).
T.I. recently ventured into acting. The rapper turned actor recently appeared in Marvel’s Ant-Man, alongside Paul Rudd.
