Daniel Tosh, the host from Comedy Central’s ‘Tosh.0’ sent heartfelt condolences to John Winkler, the production assistant who was killed last week.
Daniel Tosh spoke out last Friday over the accidental shooting death of his fellow co-worker, John Winkler.
“Only had the privilege of working with John Winkler for a short while,” the Comedy Central host tweeted. “We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.”

Winkler was mistakenly gunned down by Los Angeles sheriff deputy on Monday after they confused him for a knife holding suspect. Winkler attempted to help his friend who was being held at knife-point when police mistook him for the attacker and fired at him.
Comedy Central later released a statement to the press sending their condolences to the family of John Winkler.
Comedy Central also released a statement to the press extending their thoughts to Winkler’s family.
”We only had the privilege of working with him for a short while and extend heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends during this tragic time.”
