NBC Cancels ‘Grimm’ After Six Seasons

NBC cancels  after six seasons.

The sixth season of NBC's Grimm will be the show's last, the network announced on .

The 13 episode season will on Friday, January 6th at 8 p.m. The sixth season will be followed on Friday nights by the new  Emerald City, a spinoff of the Wizard of OZ. The show ill debut with a two-hour series premiere on January 6th and then run 9-10 every following week. Grimm centered around 20-year-old Dorothy Gale, who is transported to another world that is ruled by an all-powerful ruler who governs over the entire kingdom.

Grimm used to be NBC's #1 new Drama and the show averaged around 6.4 million U.S. viewers during its first season. However, those slowly slipped and by season 5 the ratings averaged around 4.04 million viewers.
