Vin Diesel Reveals He Named His Daughter After Paul Walker

Date:

Vin Diesel reveals that he named his newborn daughter after Paul Walker.

Vin Diesel welcomed his fourth child with his girlfriend last week, but he didn’t reveal a name or gender until yesterday. While appearing on The Today Show, Vin Diesel shared details, including how he paid tribute to his friend during a ‘Furious 7’ screening and naming his daughter after Paul Walker:

“I named her Pauline. There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting the umbilical cord. I knew he was there. It felt like… a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world.”

Diesel has been paying tribute to his friend, whom he considered to be as close as a brother. You can watch the announcement in its entirety on Today this Friday.
