According to a recent poll, these accounts may generate up to $88 per post. On the other hand, most micro-influencers wait before demanding upfront payments to build a more significant, long-term presence.

This follower level can help you get your Instagram to handle the door for future partnerships or sponsored posts, which will come with some freebies.

Less Than 100,000 Followers

Brands are sending out direct messages to followers with this many followers in the game, asking for product endorsement in exchange for freebies: Designer-labeled clothing, monthly health and wellness packages, or a complimentary meal from the restaurant that wants attention are all examples of offerings.

However, many industry experts warn that if you try to charge for an influencer’s services now, the relationship may be tainted and hurt your brand.

A foodstagrammer, for example, has 72,000 followers. While dozens of likes may appear on each posting, the account is waiting to make money until at least 100,000 followers are amassed – which is the “socially acceptable” threshold.

After reaching the 100,000 follower mark, influencers should receive $10.00 for every 1,000 followers. If you charge for your posts before going this number, you may be paid less or settle early if the account hasn’t fully blossomed.‍

Influencers with 49,000 to 81,000 followers charge around $200.00 per post. The cost varies depending on the advertiser. Some accounts have negotiated partnerships with businesses to include promotional coupons on their feed, and they earn a percentage of each transaction made as a result of their code. Other accounts join programs that increase their follower count without any additional compensation.

More Than 100,000 Followers

Now we’re getting into the big leagues – and with that comes even more impressive paychecks. Celebs with millions of followers can charge up to $500,000 for a single post on social media. That’s some pretty impressive numbers, and this number will only grow as brands become more aggressive in their pursuit of social engagement.

Charging for posts before reaching 100,000 followers may result in decreased pay or no payment if the account doesn’t have the clout just yet. However, brands are known to pay upwards of $2,000.00 for a post from an influencer with this many followers.

Whether these middle-tier accounts maintain their presence on the side, working vigorously to turn their funds into a full-time career, their followings are very impressive.

More Than 1,000,000 Followers

It is a massive jump from 100,000 followers to one MILLION followers without any established guidelines or instructions on what to publish and how much to charge.

The jackpot of Instagram influence has been reached by individuals with hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of followers. With a potential profit of $670 per post, these accounts (think 250,000 to 500,000 followers) have hit the jackpot.

It does not even have to be a photograph on their feed to make money.

Brands and businesses can utilize these capabilities for more effective influencer ad campaigns, such as a verified account (blue checkmark) and the Instagram story “swipe up” ability, which lower-tier hands can’t access.

Once an account has surpassed one million followers, the sky’s the limit on what they’ll charge.

Time is money!

It’s more than simply taking attractive photographs and tagging companies, though. Instagram celebrities require a devoted following, but they also want their fans to interact with their postings.

There are a lot of middle-tier influencers who are lumped together into direct-message groups called pods, each with 15 or so other accounts attempting to break out.

According to the influencer community, users in these groups constantly share their newest content hoping that everyone else will engage with them. Comments should be at least five words long and include emojis since this will assist in boosting interaction.‍
