Job Title: Marketing Production Designer

Job Description

Summary:

The Marketing Production Designer is responsible for creating new, reformatting and revising layouts for integrated campaigns adhering to brand standards of design and quality across print and digital medias. This roll includes layout, retouching, formatting images to support our Brand, Ecommerce and Retail teams. Partnering and supporting the Art Director and Brand Designer, the role requires a deep knowledge of Graphic Design, typography, and a production minded approach to design to hit timelines that deliver compelling creative in both print and digital medias.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis)

  • Interpret creative briefs and take initiative to ask clarifying questions if needed
  • Collaborate closely with art directors, designers and marketing managers
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards across color, font, production quality and more
  • Scale and crop, retouch, revise or resize layouts as directed
  • Review final copy, layouts and content in digital or print form as the final checkpoint in the creative design process
  • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
  • Package and preflight files for release to media partners or printers
  • Prepare images for online and mobile applications
  • Catalog and reference art for future projects
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and external vendors
  • Stay up to date with new production techniques and trends through research and education

Experience and Background:

· 3-5 years of Graphic Design experience at a brand or creative agency
