Casting Call: Actor for the Role of “Toph” in Avatar: The Last Airbender

An open casting search is underway for the role of “Toph” in the upcoming production of Avatar: The Last Airbender. We are seeking a talented actress who can embody the character’s unique qualities and bring her to life on screen. This is a key role in the series, featuring a strong, unfiltered, and confident character with formidable earthbending skills.

Character Description:

• Name: Toph

• Age: Mid-late teens

• Gender: Female

• Ethnicity: Asian

• Attributes: Blind, sassy, confident, and unfiltered

Job Responsibilities:

• Character Portrayal: Accurately portray Toph’s personality and characteristics, including her confidence, strength, and unfiltered nature.

• Dialogue Delivery: Learn and deliver lines with the appropriate emotion and intensity.

• Physical Performance: Engage in scenes that may involve physical activity, including dance and/or martial arts.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the director, fellow actors, and production crew to bring the character and story to life.

• Preparation: Attend rehearsals and fittings as required.

• Vision: Actors who are blind or have low vision are strongly encouraged to submit.

Compensation:

• Rate: Compensation will be in accordance with the UBCP or SAG/AFTRA collective bargaining agreement. Specific details will be provided upon selection.
